Surely if you want a higher road speed,you would be better to buy an enduro or MX bike. Higher gearing on a 4ride would for me completely spoil the whole idea.

How does that compare in numbers to the Montesa Cota rr300. More or less bikes being supplied to dealers.

Received more detail on my order this morning,delivery expected in April. Price £6250 plus on road charges. The dealer has 2 expected for delivery.

Thanks. Having watched the southern experts trial at Butser lime works momentum seems to be so important. I cannot quite see how that can be maintained in a very low gear.Interested in understanding how gearing works in a trials bike and how that relates to the 4ride which is a 4rt with more evenly spaced higher gear ratios.

Would I be right in saying that more expert riders like the gearing higher,and less experienced riders like to feel the bike is not running away with them.

So you never use 2nd in a section ever,why even have it there surely it's just extra weight ?

1st gear on the 4ride,standard 10/41 gearing,is the same as 2nd gear on the 4rt on 10/41 gearing. My question is if you ride a Montesa 4rt on 10/41 gearing what would you use 2nd gear for.

I went to watch,was it ever slippery not that easy to even walk around.Amazed at how easy some of you made the climbs look.

Sent an email (asking,will the 4ride be coming to the UK)to Honda in Spain,in English !!!,received an email back (no reply with link)with a link to there website which listed the 4ride for February.The link was in Spanish.All the Montesa bikes where there.

Did Montesa have the cota 300rr there?

The fact that France has a price makes me wonder if the 4ride will be coming to the UK at all.

I have heard that it will be abit more than the 4rtI am guessing £5800?
