  1. Ive just replaced my 04 gas gas 200, and I can honestly say its the best bike I have had, I don't normally keep them this long but I didn't want to change the 200. Its light pleanty of power and no different than any other gas gas for maintance or faults. I did fit a to fly wheel weight on it which it did need in my opinion and also fitted a Khien which improved it but which it probally didn't really need.

    Never ridden a 200 Beta.

just bought a 225 out on it tomorrow for the first time

  2. Spud perhaps all farmers in the sourh east are arable farmers and any mess dosen't matter, but up in hilly Wales its does amd land is hard to come by and I don't know off a quicker way of p*ss*ng off farmers than digging up there grass.

Its not my club but we have several venues we don't even think off going to in the winter as you just can't get on the fields never mind off them.

  3. Below is a statement from the Colwyn club regarding the cancellation of there Trial

Colwyn Trial on Sunday 30th March - Cancelled

After an inspection of car parking area today - Friday (and not even taking into account the rain forecast for tomorrow) it has been decided that it is too wet and muddy for car parking. Therefore unfortunately we have decided to cancel the trial. We can only apologise for this inconvenience

  4. Is that the contact model, with Fortuna as the sponsor? i have recently bought a basket case Gas Gas contact, the kick start is still attached and seems fine, I will get it of and measure it up to see if its the correct one.

  5. Pathfinders trials have 2 routes neither are that hard but the expert route is pretty technical, there trials are all run at Clifton a smallish venue which they own, good trials and well organised. The venue is just on the outskirts of Ashbourne at Clifton which you can see on the link attached just of the A515.

Results will be on the macctrials site

    http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?cli...85&down.y=2

  6. Hawks nest is on the A53 Leek to Buxton road in the village of Flash turn right if you have come from Buxton at a pub called the travellers rest just keep going on this small lane bearing left at any turns until you come to a gate and your at Hawks nest farm to pay at is a bit further on on the left.

  7. Both Cheshire & North Wales centre trials are cancelled this weekend, 8th July due to the farmers concerns about damage to the fields used for parking. The Congleton trial was the thrid round of the centre adult chamionship as well. The other trial was the Cheshire youth event.

  8. One on at Leek tonight, not sure what time the start is but around 6 i guess. Its a staffordshire moorlands trial, take the meir road out of leek sign posted of to the left.

  9. I thought if you lived in Buxton you had to ride a gas gas or they would send some round to put your lights out .

Only joking, nothing wrong with gas gas and the best place for parts is only a stone throw away in harpur hill, not that you will need any parts of course other then the normal brakes bearings and tyres.

Man 17, Macc , staffmoorland clubs plus north derby youth all run trials around Buxton area, I reckon you must be within 20 miles of at least one trial every weekend, living in this part of the world.

  10. Below is a bit of text from the last CYTC results posted on the centre site sec numbers on there if you want to ring her.

"Many thanks to all the observers and everyone who helped to set up the trial over the weekend.

Our next trial is on the 15th April at Marian Ffrith, Dyserth signposted from Junction 29

off the A55 top of Rhuallt Hill (please check TMX)."
