kinell how did you go on with your fly wheel weight? did you leave it off or put it back on?

changed the oil tonight and the magnet on the sump plug is covered with metal filings is this normal? also whats the best way to check your spokes i've read that they should all sound the same when tapped with a spanner, but they all sound different? also i've heard mentioned about recommending a slow action throttle, do these come on an 04 rev'3 as standard ? should I put a grease nipple in the headstock, like on the modification for the techno's ? regards mick.

I've noticed that my 04 rev'3 sounds as sweet as a nut when cold but when its warmed up it sounds rattly in the gearbox ,i'm using the clutch tuner recommended by lampkins,anyone else noticed this.

think i've sussed my bike,with it not revving cleanly, i've opened the air screw to 2 full turns out, seems to have made it run alot sweeter at high revs, (before at high revs it blubbered, sounded like the choke was on) if anyone elses is abit that way try adjusting the air.

clarkp, as you've guessed, my mechanical skills are limited, things tend not to go back together, the same as they came apart.didn't even know there was a jet in there, and after the trouble i had putting the rubber hose from the airbox to the carb, i aint looking forward to finding out! dont know wether anyone makes any sense of this but i think the main is 150 and on the slider it says 2.0 are these jets ok ? also it conked out on me tonight took the old plug out ( champion N7YCC) and best describe it as black and oily put a new plug in from lampkins (beta importer) NGK BP5ES and it started first kick been running my mixture at 70:1 any ideas anyone? regards mick.

on my mates bike '98 techno ,the water in the expansion tank isn't getting hot at all, but the radiator is hot to the touch ,should it not be like a car if you unscrew it , it pushes hot water out, any ideas, also the bike seems to run on a little bit when you rev up and release cheers guys

berlingo , kangoo,combo all have a load space of 1700 ,my rev'3 fits in my berlingo,but thats without a bulkhead fitted, doubt they'd fit with the bulkhead in but i could be wrong.

2 & 4 do it for me, any order would do though saying that 1&3 would be a start

cheers for the advice guys ,the knees getting a little better but far from convincing ,my doctors got me in with a sports physio tomorrow so i'll see what they have to say .definitely gonna get some braces before i ride the BEAST again ! .......... and some for the bike too

hi guys, just found out i've got posterior ligament damage on my knee, going in for anthroscopy ,anyone had this and still ride? he's told me they don't usually do anything surgical to repair it, but that's not filling me with confidence, are my biking days over? any information from people who have had it done would be gratefully recieved , cheers mick.

i just got some of that from sandifords hrc , they also sold me some filter cleaner, wether it's any good remains to be seen .I think the washing up liquid would have been the cheaper option though.
