Hello Bruce.. Not sure if this helps you but I’m not sure if there was one specific decal... the one pictured in b40rt’s link was owned by someone who worked at Comerfords and restored that bike. I talked to him last year and he said that in general, when building (converting the Mountain Cubs) they took what ever was in the parts bin so, no Comerfords Cub is the same as the next.. I’ve attached an image of a Comerfords Cub I took at Gordon Farley’s shop some years ago, his had a big red decal and then one of mine which is just a simple black ‘Triumph’ Hope this helps.. Jon

Hi Martin. The bike you have looks like a Comerfords Cub but it’s not quite right and I’ll check but I think, all of them came from one batch of Mountain Cubs sold to Comerfords in 66. I know this for two reasons, 1 Gordon Farley told me, they were works replica of the bikes built and used by Gordon and Roy Peplow in 64,65 and 66, in 1962 they were still riding 350’s and 2, I have all the paperwork for mine... Your signature shows you live near Huntingdon, so do I if you want to look at mine.. Jon

Hi Vinnie, As 2fargone say's it's a BSA Victor type 'Lyta' petrol tank. I've only ever seen one other Comerfords cub (at Gordon Farleys' shop) and it was the same. Both the other one and mine have a plastic stopper and not a metal hinged filler cap, guess it was to reduce weight. If you look at the ebay one it has a metal hinged cap!! JonnyP
