  1. Very pleased with it so far.................and it matches mine What I would like to get hold of is a manual for this and maybe the exploded parts diagrams - maybe in pdf format. I have them for my bike, but the 125 is a little different in the engine department. Any help would be greatly appreciated Techno head
  2. Took my IRIS chain off this evening to clean and was shocked to see one of the link end plates was split This chain has only been adjusted twice and always well lubed - that's how new it was! A quick phonecall to the nice people at BVM confirmed that they have had alot of problems with this chain and that a new one will be on it's way (not IRIS!) Techno head
  3. Before you go for a Q plate, check out any possible insurance problems. I have a feeling some companies don't like Q's. The one other thing I know is that a Q plated vehicle doesn't have to be the final word. I tried and failed many years ago to get an age related plate for an old Aprilia. The man said that if I could get better evidence then Q plates can be changed to age related no problem. Techno head
  4. I always understood that you only needed a certificate of newness IF you wanted an age related plate - if you aren't bothered then it can be registered without, but it will be Q plated. Techno head
  5. Not a member of a club yet, I only got my bike a month or so ago after a long absence from the sport. I always liked my trials bikes, but got rid of my last one when we didn't have anywhere to ride them for fun. I said to my mate recently "well if you can find somewhere to ride them I'd have another one tomorrow". The next day he phoned me, and a week later I bought a 99 Lampkin replica Techno I live near Blandford by the way Techno head
  6. You should heat alloy to straighten, cover the area in household soap and heat until it goes black, that is the temperature to straighten at. Hold the lever at the pivot point in a vice with smooth jaws and use something like a large ring spanner over the lever to bend at the required place. Good luck, Technohead
