  1. Used to have s 96 gas gas myself. You will find the plug to drain the oil under the bike in the hole in the sump guard. You will need an allen key to un-do this plus something under the bike for the oil to drain into. The plug to top the oil back up is on right hand side of the bike above the clutch between the kickstart and the waterpump. I apologize that I can

  2. Been through the same thing myself mate, trying to hard and getting no results to show for it. Best thing i found was to get away from the sport for a month, dont think about it, then came back and found i was riding alot better.

Happend about two years ago, was a rubbish novice rider with no confidence and just couldnt make it happen no matter how hard i tried. Took a short break and came back a new person and left all those old habbits behind, now riding as a top inter rider and loving it. Often find if i dont ride for a few weeks i come back stronger than before, might just be me, but found it works. Dont believe in giving up but there is such a thing as trying to hard when it just isn't working. :D

  3. The best place to start would be to check this link here, http://www.acu.org.uk/directory/ select the area you live in and it will give you a list of motorcycle clubs in your area. A lot of area's run clubs that specialize in youth riders only.

If you can contact one them and find out when an event is on near you the best thing would be to just go and have a look. You will find that the people there are always very friendly and will welcome any new riders looking to get into the sport. If he is still interested you can then look at getting the bike/equipment etc.

Another great place to look is Trials and Motocross news out every Friday, should be in your local newsagent. It will tell you about events happening in your area as well as having plenty of second hand bikes for sale. http://www.tmxnews.co.uk/home/index.html

Hope this is of some help, always nice to hear of young riders looking to get into trials!!!

  4. Hi Glen its Adam, so glad to hear that your ok man, was there helping you too on tuesday night (was me holding in the clutch so we could free your head), Injuries look nasty but glad to see your up and about mate. Hope to see you around soon, we need guys like you in the centre!!!!

    P.S

  5. Boofont

If you are interested Wymondham club have an Eastern Centre trial on September 9th about 10 miles from you at Middleton. It is in a working carstone quarry and if we want we can normally mark out all the sections on rocks. Very unusual for the flat boring Eastern Centre.

Hey i'll be there too, middleton is a great place to ride!!

  6. Hi to everyone who remembers junior kickstart or who still has some episodes on tape, i am 99% certain i found the place where it was filmed today. Found it on the map and went to have a look on my way back from seeing the Formula one test at silverstone. It's just north of towcester along the A43. The place was pretty deserted and looked like it aint been used for years but was able to make out some parts that were used for filming about 20 years ago.

    take a look.... :o

  7. Does anyone have an MPEG or a link to a YouTube type site where I can view the classic Junior Kick start incident involving I beliveve a guy called Mark Schofield and the St John's Ambulance. Tried Youtube and various others with no luck. Would love to see it again.

I know the clip you mean and i'm sorry to inform you that it was only repeated on TV last week, one of these "tv's funniest moments" or something like that. Have not seen it posted on the net anywhere though.
