  1. Thanks for the kind words of support. She has a heart of gold and a will of iron, if anyone can beat it she can.
  2. I won't be riding for a while. My Wife's health is deteriorating. She has had a recurrence of cancer. My Mother has cancer and is probably going to have to move in with me, as she can hardly get around. My Dad broke his hip a year ago and has been in a whellchair ever since. So I am kind of busy now. I still have the KT250 in the store room, just in case. And I think I remember how to ride it. I am still in active training for drinking beer though.
  3. I haven't been here for a long time. Having just returned to see how things are going, I can see that you guy's are still just as juvinile as I remembered. I (sniff) love you guys. (Now will somone give me a beer?)
  4. check out this page http://www.pbase.com/smokedaddy/testosterone_toys These bikes are all owned by a friend of mine, and they are all for sale too. He has suffered a severe work related back injury and cannot ride anymore. Take special notice of the white Buell, it is a one of a kind, custom made at the Buell factory for Danny Sullivan. If you like Harleys these are sah-weet.

Just because once upon a time you were civilized dosen't mean you are now or ever will be again. Oh-boy don't get me started.

    Clunking Engine

If you are sure that the sound is coming from the engine I would look under the clutch basket at the gear with the dampening assembly. I have seen the rivets loosen up and cause the cover to push-off a bit under hard pressure. makes a heavy clunking sound.
  7. I had the same problem with my 98 Gasser. I just installed the correct (resistor type) plug and it would rev out cleanly.
