I have an '07 TXT 300 Pro and had noticed that the tire was rubbing against the exhaust pipe. This weekend while riding in my first trials event I noticed that one of the other guys I was riding with had his pipe worn through by the tire. I took another look at mine and sure enough it had worn through sometime between when I unloaded it off the truck and later that day. What's the fix for this? I'm thinking I'll just weld on an aluminum plate over the hole and then see if I can reposition the pipe. How common is this problem?

I have two daughters, one who'll be six in March and the other who'll be three and a half then. I'm really thinking more of this for the older girl as the younger one hasn't really shown much of an interest in her bicycle yet. Probably a birthday present in March. What's the best size to get? Both girls are about 40 lbs. The older one is at least average or a little taller in height for her age but slender. The three year old comes up to her nose and is stockier - definitely quite big for her age. The girls love it when I give them rides on my GG 300, but standing on the outer 1" of peg is a workout on my feet. I think they'll have a lot more fun riding on their own.

I got a schwell deal on an '07 for $5699. A number of the used bikes I was looking at weren't all that much less expensive, well, a couple of grand less, but then again they're used. Tomorrow will be my first real ride other than putting around the yard, but so far I'm happy with the bike.

Hi, Considering getting a used trials bike, like an '04 or newer GG 280 or 300 Pro. Looked around on the net but am not seeing many bikes out there. Are there any well known places where the bikes are listed that folks within the sport know about, where I should be looking? Thanks,
