    Tyres

I'm in the UK. Wales. The trials tyres on my bike at the moment say tubed tyres. The valve has a locknut on the outside, obvliously being an inner tube there. If I was to buy a tubeless tyre what do i have to do, get a valve fitted at a tyre garage? What about the adjustment on the spokes will air escape hence do i have to stick to tubed tyres? Thankyou WRC

Hello wrc, there is no bleed nipple on the sy,i bled mine at a trial because the sir-clip broke on the slave cylinder pushing the piston out. found new clip put it all back to-gether topped the resivoir up & pumped the lever, while flicking the cabel to get any air to rise to the top, only took 20mins & finished the trial. hope this helps. P.S (pump the lever slow.) Hello Slack, Many thanks for you help. I have sent you a PM. Regards WRC

    Clutch Bleediing

Hello, Ive been attempting to bleed the old clutch fluid from my Scorpa sy250, but cant seem to find a bleed point except for a hexagonal headed socked attatch to the hydraulic clutch cable on the end nearest to the clutch mechnism. There isnt much room to have a great look as ive not done this beofre and any help would be apprecited. Thank WRC
  6. Hello wrc, iv'e also got an sy,what i have to do from cold is start the bike, let it tick over for a few seconds then give the bike a little push so the bike is freewheeling then knock it into gear, then pull the clutch in so it disengages the clutch. Then knock back into nuetral then bike is ok for the rest of the day.Try some fresh oil 10/30 650cc if no change try & bleed to see if any air in the system, failing that new clutch plates req;.hope this helps. Thanks for the info. I take it the oil is hydraulic oil? Would you also know of where i can get my hand's on a Scorpa Maintenance Manual SY250 02 Ive been on thier website but they only have one for the SY250F and i thinks thats a different one. Thanks WRC

  9. Ive recently aquired a Trials bike and have had some practice on flat ground to get used to it. Ive noticed a problem when i pull the clutch right into select 1st or whatever gear from neutral, the bike wants to ride away. Could someone give me some adive on what this could be as I'm new to motorbikes. Ive tried adjusting the clutch srcrew at either end of the hydraulic cable but there is no improvement. Any help would be marvelous.
