hi havent been on bike for a while due to knee injury but i am finally back on my bike and decided to go out to mallaig for a day i will upload pics if someoen could tell me how Doogzie

it has been almost 4 weeks since i have ridden my bike as when i got off my bike i got my foot stuck in the ground and it hasent been right since has any one else been off there bike with injurys

Hi everyone I just can't get the hang of this I put a log on the drive and clear my front wheel but always scrape over with the back wheel. Can anyone give me some advice on how to perfect it. I'd love to be able to clear a good height eventually. Thanks Doogzie

I left my bike out in the rain for an hour now it wont start any ideas It was going fine until then. Tried spraying it with WD but no Ideas dried it out in the garage.

Hi from Doogzies father I just changed the front fork seals on a mates SV1000 there's an allen key on the bottom of the fork which you undo with a hammer ratchet gun. If you try to use an ordinary allen key it will just spin all day. Once you have removed the bottom leg by sliding it up and down like a slide hammer you can replace the seals. Then just top up the fluid from the top there's no need to remove the spring. That's a fairly standard set up for front forks. Don't know if it's the same as yous. Yer right about it being quiet on here. Cheers John

Sorry if this is inthe wrong area couldn't find other topics. The slave cylinder on my 1996 gas gas had leaking seals so we got a new one a service kit which includes a new piston only this one has a spring at the back with a recessed groove for it. Is this an updated version and if using the spring how will the piston be able to retract when the clutch lever is released. Thanks for any ideas Doogzie

Hi I am just starting out in trails I live about a mile from pipers burn on West highlands and have just got my first bike after saving for years well since I was 5 I am at highschool and am 12 years old. My Dads given me instruction on looking after my bike it's an old 1996 gas gas but goes well I have been taught by dad to ride it and am now quite confident at riding round the garden and over obstacles like tyres railway sleepers and stuff we set up in the garden. I hope to get involved in the 6 day trails one day, till then I will practice with my dad he made a trailer so we can go to events and try out different places. Does anyone have any advice about changing the gear oil co's the bike tends to creep forward when clutch is all the way in dad got some oil. A picture of the filler and sump plug locations would be good. Thanks DJ
