  1. Exellent trial, best scottish trial I've been at. Weather was perfect aswell! I think the new marking system is a good step forward it worked well and lets the plotters make the adult class that bit harder, which is what we need! Thanks to all the observers and lay out team. Craig

    Mikuni Carb

Does anybody know if a rev3 Mikuni will fit 240 rubbers and throttle cable? If so what jets to use? Is it worth the effort? My own carb is a bit worn. Any alternatives?

    08 Carb Probs

The one with the wire going round to the back is the mixture screw, and the smaller black one is the tick over. I am having some porblems with my 08 250 ever since I put the Boyesen reeds in it has run rich but up to then it was spot on. I think the wire on the mixture screw is just because it is a Kehin carb and theyre just adapted from the shercos and gassers which are on the other side of the bike .
  4. That is one of the best snippets of advice you will find particularly for a Gas Gas. I had a 125 beta for a year then switched to a 125 sherco and thought it was 100xbetter!! But that only goes for the 125s because when i moved up last year I bought a cabestany rep but i think it is far too much for anyone except those at the level of the british championship upwards! Anyway, I have now got a 200 beta 2006 and it is superb. Never had any bother with it (though i did have to change the stator on my 05 125 beta) and i think it has plenty of power for any clubman/national rider. Bt i cant give an opinion on a 250 sherco or a 290 cos ive neverhad one so as they said above get a good shot on the bike before you buy it.
