  1. I suggest that Cota approaches his new "arabian friends", they will have plenty of spare cash and who knows with CK at the helm, it can only be a roaring success.

Mind you with Redcar Bowl and hMiddlesbrough Town Hall Crypt as possible international venues, it will be heavily geared towards the Brits.

    My votes for CK.

Redcar bowl used to host world darts finals for years!!!

  2. Bit off topic here, but i was thinking this, if i was out on my trials bike and i crossed a road, or rode up one a bit to get to the next section, i could get banned, fined, etc for having no tax, insurance, etc etc, but on a horse you can go where you want, if its a safety thing, well a bike is more controllable than a horse, it can only do what the operator tells it to do, whereas a horse could flip out, also more importantly, you cant switch a horse off!! they even have emmisions (stupid i know but they do)

(ps, im not excusing chavs on pitbikes and crossers here, who should be snipered on sight)

oh, and bring back fox hunting, yet another tradition gone, it'll be fishing they are after banning

    next!!

  3. buy ome new wheel bearings you tight git!! lol, they are only cheap, paoli shock can be serviced.....leave to shocker expert, swing arm marks, need some pics please and torque for swng arm bolts....just tight, with plenty of grease

  4. pro's are different mate, bleed from top, open reservior cap, close nipple and forget, gently work lever back and forth a small amount, you will see bubbles, keep doing, takes a while, until no bubbles, be gentle tho. id say check master cylinder as well as 9/10 they are knackerd at that age

  5. I dont think the problem lies with your flywheel weight. I love the power range of the old techno's compared with my rev 3. If it is taking a while to come back down off the revs, it could be air leaking, check inlet rubber, reed gasket, if ok, then its crank seals/centre csket im afraid matey, this would also cause a lazy response as you will have set your carburetion for an overly lean condition, obviously you have cleaned the carb out right?

  6. i have to agree, i have the stone 2 and fits like a glove, i had alpine stars before them and didn,t like at all, only thing with any boot ditch the liner and wear gortex socks, they are a military item but should be able to get them on ebay :banana2:

seal skinz are a lot comfyer, they have a membrane in them, available from millets or any army surplus store

  7. neither, diadora stone twos, gearne (some places have them on offer aroud that price range, or the more expensive hebo's NOT ECO (horrid--had a pair) i have used same stone twos for nearly 2 years now with pair of seal skinz socks, and am jesitant to replace them, they will last another 2 years. alpine stars soles wear out quickly compared to most, not had experience with novogar, but when time eventually comes, next boots will be diadora for sure

  8. Pete, what do you use on the nikasil ? A ball hone or a straight one? :banana2:

specialy made ball hone for my delapena leaves lovely finish and doesnt knock the ****e out of my machine, although my best frond who has a plating business normally does them for me, i dont like honing after prolonged use of the cylinder as for blade hones in drils, forget it, and wd40 doesnt stop tearing, always try and use proper honing oil, or the oil the engine normally runs in, if using ball hone on drill. my delapena uses proper coolant

  9. Gotta be a beta or scorpa, I work on the things for a living and the buid quality of the gassers and shercos are appauling In my honest opinion. I get to see everything that goes wrong on these things, and it always seems to boil back to poor materials, and poor engineering, shercos and gassers have improved a small amount, but sherco i think have gone backwards with the amount of warrenty work that has been done recently

  10. more info please, part numbers, etc. and pics of your bracket if it is not obvious.

Can I buy on inet, I am in the US

Son got a 2002? Rev 3 last year and I just want to accumulate some parts before need arises. Broken kickstart lever was I think $125, ouch.

I am also looking for clutch and brake master cylinders, hoses, calipers, shifter ever, maybe some wheels.

Really nice bike though, big leap from his old 96GG and our 2000GG

    tks,

    kcj

Loads of rev 3 bits on fleabay UK at moment bud
