    Montesa Disc

OK, did the pads, scratched the discs and bedded them in, rode them a while chnaged the seals and then did the hot and cold thing, they were much better. The final thing that did the trick was using them in anger on a muddy trial, after the disc and pad got so scratched and scraped they worked much better. Back as good as new, which aint great but good enough for now. Thanks
  4. Thanks for the information on the graphics, Sandiford has them and prices vary on what you need, he also has the rear mudguard that we also now need after the weekend. Hopefully I get the chance to get the bike looking as good as some of the others on this site now. You can drop him a line off the contact details on http://www.sandiford.co.uk/contact.htm
  5. Any ideas, can i get new original graphics and new plastics for a 1998? it's looking tired now

Put new pads in, bedded them in then tried the hot and cold, seems better but I am going to try the seals. They are original for 1998 and maybe looking for a change as there seems to be a lot of what looks like dirt in the bottom of the master. Thanks

gonna try new pads, bed them in and use the hot / cold method. If this doesn't work then it's down your shopping list starting with the seals. Thanks for the info, I'll let you know how I get on

fair point may be a good idea to look at the seals, the only thing is I seem to be getting plenty of pressure to the caliper and no bubbles back in the master but it just doesn't seem to want to slow down. I have to chnage the pads as I think they're glazed but thought it may be the right time to try a disc as wel. What wavy disc did you use and where did you get the seals?

I have a 1998 Cota 315 and the front brake performance is pretty poor, it's just a plain solid front disc. What is the best option to improve the brake? Can I get get soft pads or is there an option to fit a later "wavy" disc or similar, if I did this would I need different pads? Any ideas please.

    1998 Gasgas Plastics

had problems getting hold of AB's just ordered mudguard from BVM. Just need to sort the manual next but not so much of a panic for that. Thanks
  11. I agree it should be your choice to ride for fun instead of working at it so offer to ride outside the points and keep your card at the end, that way the new guys coming through who are working hard to improve their riding get just rewards for their efforts. I'm sure the organisers will have no issue with that. If you want to appear in the results list then ride in the class your ability dictates
  12. Can anyone tell me where I can get a new rear mudguard and a manual for my 1998 gasgas 125? had the bike for years but now started to trial it and bits are breaking
