  1. Was just wondering the factory beta looks relatively standard to the eye where as the TTT beta has got the pipe and various other trick bits which would surely increase performance over the factory bike ?? Does anyone know what the factory would do to give their bikes extra performance ??

    Cheers Ben

  2. Tarres ALL day long for me. As mentioned elsewhere he made trials what it is today.

Doug was (and is) awesome but for me had less consistent challengers that could beat him (to the championship not a trial)

Tarres had - Michaud, Bosis, Miglio, Ahvala

Lampkin had - Colomer and Fuji

Also what I consider very important is that Tarres won back the WTC not oncce but TWICE 1989 and 1993. So Tarres won 7 times over a 9 year period

Lampkin won 7 years on the bounce (AWESOME ACHIEVEMENT BTW) but had not as good challengers and once he lost it was not able to regain it.

Bou is doing the same thing now and totally changing trials and taking it to another cyclo trials level.

In a few years time you might all say Bou depending on what happens.

But for me right now Jordi Tarres is the all time greatest trial rider

To be fair to doug he looked set to retain the title in 2005, but was injured meaning he was just pipped to the post by raga. Fujigas was one hell of a challenger and still is so i dont think its fair to say he had no contenders.

  3. hi mate

i ride a gasgas and obviousley i would say there the best but to be completley honest i would say and sherco from 2004 onwards any gasgas from 2003 onwards or any beta from 2009 onwards theses bikes will be the best for a smooth stable ride but when your lad progresses will have plenty of guts for hime to get up the biggest of obstacles

  4. just was attempting to swap s3 pipe off 125 and put it on my 250 ... i took the nuts off the thread and then pulled thepipe off all good and and then as i was taking the thread out with the right size allen key half way down it just snapped clean off i didnt even realise cause of how cleanly it broke off so completly clue less i took the other one off and of course ith happened to the other one aswell ..................... does any one have any idea on how to get these lil F***ers out if so please help cause my dad is on a mad one (N)

  5. Yeah well gutted about the outdoor the comentator just reads out what each rider lost on both laps... "Ton bou lost 3 on section 1 went clean till section 9 then lost 2 on 12 and so on it just gets repetitive i wish it would tell you what sectiont he riders are actually riding and i hate the format of showing the winnner first then second then third i wish they would just show a few riders on 1 section then another and so on ..........

  6. HI

My 2008 gasgas 125 wont change up from gear 2 to gear 3 all the other changes are fine i can do it if i stall the engine and change it by hand obviously not much good in the middle of a section was told that it was some kind of cap that might have broke under the clutch plates but checked it and it was fine ?:S ............ When i try and change up with my foot the leavers just moves up as normal but no change PLEASE HELP

  7. If you can, post a photo of the installation. It might be something as simple as the main jet access plug vibrating on the top of the engine case (the Keihin usually needs to be spaced out farther than the Dellorto to clear the case) and causing frothing and needle valve vibration leakage.

    Jon

ok thanks for that will do asap
