  1. Hi I have a gasgas 125cc txt pro 2004 model. My problem is the bike wont start. I have cleaned the plug and topped up the clutch fluid as this was low. Can someone give me a quick guide to fine the source of the problem. It has fuel in it with the correct mixture. Thanks, Matt
  2. Thanks mate, will give it a go. Matt
  3. Hi my bike won't start, I think I've flooded the engine, as can smell fuel strongly and spark plug wet. Whats the best way to resolve it, either dry the spark plug off and leave for a few days, or bump start it? Thanks, Matt GASGAS TXT PRO 125 04 MODEL
  4. How do I find out if I have boyesen reeds, and are they situated and the carburettor body. Also what is the quick way to take this out and take it apart to clean it? Thanks, Matt

    Servicing

What is there to service on a 125 txt pro gasgas. I have changed the plug, drained and refilled collant/water, cleaned air filter. Is it worth cleaning the carb or anything else? The bike has a bit of a dead spot and stalls if you de accelerate and then accelerate and then stalls, it also doesn't start as well when hot. Is that normal, or is something causing this? Cheers, Matt
  6. thanks but i have that manual, thats the service manual, i need a more in depth manual like a workshop manual, does anyone have that, or a detailed description or pictures on how to change the kick start sprocket, because its behind the clutch plates. thanks matt
  7. I've sorted this now, sorry I didn't realise there's another smaller spring (tensioner about 2 inches long) and I was missing this, this is why it wasn't working.lol. Thanks for everyones help though, got a kickstart problem to sort now, got to work out how the clutch plates come out to get to the kick start sprocket, because it's broken off. Thanks, Matt
  8. Does anyone have a workshop manual for a gasgas txt pro 2004 125cc. Not the service manual, the workshop manual, which tells you how to change all parts on the bike, service it, tweak settings etc? In pdf format or you can send me the link. Would be really useful if someone had it. Cheers, Matt
  9. Hi there I kicked a little too hard on my kickstart at the weekend, as it was struggling to start, and I got a little frustrated and kicked a bit hard, then the kick start span all the way round rather than stopping when it is horizontal, I drained the clutch fluid and took the clutch/kickstart cover off today and the kickstart goes onto a spindle then the spindle connects to a small sprocket with a few teeth on, on mine it has snapped off, but it doesnt look as though you can get it out unless you take the clutch plates out, as it is behind. Does anyone know how to take it out? Can you take it out from the side, or do you have to take the whole bottom part of the engine off? I can send photos to e-mail adresses if this helps? Also a rough estimate of repair cost incase I can't repair it myself would be useful, I expect it will need this sprocket and around 2 hours labour, so I'm guessing around the 150 mark? Cheers, Matt
  10. My gas gas is looking a bit shabby because of the stickers can I get a set from anywhere apart from GasGas, because from gasgas the price is ridicolous
  11. Hi just got a new stand, spring and allen key fittings for my gasgas, as didn't have a stand before, I can fit the stand, but can't work out how to fit the spring. I know one end goes on the little bit of metal that sticks up half way up the stand, does the allen key screw go through the other end of the spring and through the bracket? Because it doesn't seem to stretch that far? Do you have to stretch spring first? Or am I doing it wrong? Thanks, Matt
