  1. does any one know who the importers were around 1991 as i have a ty pinky and want to road reg the bike on a age related plate and need a certificate of newness i think it is a 1991 model as the frame starts 4 AJ

  2. has any one rebuild a rear shock on a pinky mine has started to leak and it it like a pogo stick i know i can get the rod seal from a local hydraulic supplys jut wanted to know if i need to know any thing before i start to repair the shock

  3. would like to know are the engine cases on a 2007 beta rev 3 270 cc aluimnium or magnesium as i thinking of buyin one and the cases look gold looking as i know on some gasgas raga models they are gold looking and are magnesium as i had a bike before with magnesium cases and the oil started to rott them away so if it does have the i will walk away

  4. yes mate i sold it to john collins motorcycles south wales i was happy to sell to him as i know he will keep the engine and frame together and do the the bike up and sell it on to someone who love s bultos and keep the bike in top form. It would have been a shame to sell on as parts as its all been together since the day it was made so i think it should all stay together the day when it dies

  5. bought a bultaco 325 cc 1976 model few months ago as i have always had a modern bike always fancy a twinshock now i have one. I done a lot of thinking over the last few weeks as i beeen staring to renivate the bike about selling it on to get another gasgas/beta. As a keen watcher on ebay i see that some of the bultos are not making a lot of money when you can just jump on and trial the bike is it worth me doing the bike up or just selling it as parts. I have stripped the bike of paint both tank and frame ready to paint so the bike is just parts now so would be easy to sell on if i decide to sell on as parts. The bike has matching frame and engine numbers also road reg and i have the V5C and has a nice chrome full exhaust system and immaculate forks. so if any members on TC have any advice for me on this subject let me know what you think the best thing i should do as i want to get back on to a modern bike (sorry if i upset any bultaco owner about wanting to get back on a modern bike it just my personal preference)

  6. i got a very good set of usd forks and yokes from a 1994 techno bought them for a project but no longer needed click on my user name and mail me you email address and i will send you some pic s also the later forks from the 1996 techno model will not fit your bike unless you got the yokes to fit them

  7. just spoke to a few trials shop they all say the same put light gear oil in 800cc the say that the engine will run on ATF but would not recommend it. But as MIKEE said his bike runs fine on it and his clutch works great so i think i will have a go with the ATF first see how it goes and it is thinner and should lube the small end bearing better

  8. went to the telford show a crackin day out pick up parts that i needed for my bike saw a load of nice trials bikes to view one bike i thought was a load of crap and a copy of the new sherco was the new greeves trials the way the staff were there around the bike they were well up they own a*** you would have thought that they made a product that would change the world it just seam s to me all they do all day is work in a design room taken idea s of other bike s they must be so good of a bike no magazine has done a review test on one and i dont think they could keep up with the others on the market myself i think they should call it a day and apply for a different job.......... i heard del boy is looking for someone to sell his copyed merchandise ...........

  9. hi mate stainless steel is softer than normal wheel bearings as the steel they use is high grade steel which they case harden i would never buy any stainless screws to put on my engine they may look pretty but they are so much softer than normal screw i would be afried if i use a allen key in them they could round the head and would have to be drilled out

  10. thanks woody i was going to bid on that swing arm i tryed every where and no joy on a swing arm or seat was going to ask some one to measure they sing arm and gonig to make one my self as i am a tool maker/engineer and have use of the machines in work do you know of any where that may be able to help me i have put a add on the classified s

  11. hi woody thanks for the reply yes you know the bike as i bought it of you mate colin when i spoke to colin we were taking about a bultaco puma and said that you have had ridden one what sort of mods were done to the bike and have you have any pic s of that bike

  12. does any one know the bearing numbers or sizes for a 250 mono 59N i need the sizes for the big end and small end and any other engine bearings and seal sizes would be a big help to me i DONT want to pay dealer prices i did a quick search on the net to jk s and ty trials they wanted

  13. hi it a 1995 jt 350 as i have one and if you rebuild the engine you could use a piston from a bultaco 325 as the very similar also i used a coil from a lambretta save you money going to gasgas for parts only cost me

  14. hi all can any one help me i am looking for some close up pics of a frame and tank of a jcm as they have a petrol tank under the seat i have loads os parts layin about in my workshop eg. forks ,engine wheels so i think i will put them to good use by makin a special trials bike with petrol tank under the seat so if any one could help me out on any pics i would be most greatful so i can design my own frame with the jcm design incoprated into my design thanks my email is millerme@hotmail.co.uk
