  1. JCM, Mecatecno Motobecane Scott Cagiva Merlin Suzuki KTM Puch Majesty Whitehawk MZ lambretta Vespa CCM Sana RTX Hondaka WSK Take a look back through old P 65 SSDT programmes....some interesting names in there
  2. Ross No I don't think so, it appears that only the P65 and the Six Days themselves generate the same level vitriol when folk don't get in. Over the years there have been some very heated discussions on here if you want to look back all around not getting through the ballot or worse machine eligibility but as has been said, when you put the entry forms in you know exactly what you're going for, if you can't handle the fall out from that don't enter, simple. cheers Donald
  3. no podium girl desktops......
  4. Got my are you still going to observe email from Alex Smith today...daft question...
  5. You in???
  6. Happy New Year mate.. Like the prof says until you see an entry list you don't know, you should know that. I've given up sending Anne an email to "scrounge" a list to laminate before the weekend. Year before last there were three, last year not sure off the top of my head, think Vicky and the young Polish girl. It's down to the ballot simple as that
  7. Frenchie, I think there are many people under the misapprehension that the three or four hundred people who actually enter are fighting it out among themselves for a very small number of the 180 places. I would seriously doubt that is the case. I am aware that there are a number of places held over for past winners but beyond that I'm pretty certain it's down to the ballot. I know Big John has to go through the ballot annually and many other individuals who "appear" to get in whatever the scenario. My old man entered twleve or thirteen times out of the 25, he got in about half of those. For what it's worth, I've known the trial secretary for more years than I want to remember and would trust her integrity beyond doubt. The system is as fair as you can get based on the extreme number of entries there are every year and while some people don't like that well, that's just the way it is. The trial has it's rules which you agree to when you sign the form, simple as that.
  8. Seems as good a place as any..... A man walks into his bedroom with a sheep under his arm and says, "Darling, this is the pig I have sex with when you have a headache." His wife is lying in bed and replies, "I think you'll find that that's a sheep, you idiot". The man says, "I think you'll find I wasn't talking to you."
  9. Bloody hell....she was gorgeous . . . . . . . . . . . . Jumps were pretty special as well

  14. ME!!!....Mischief..... ALWAYS The Pre-65 trial is more of an event than you would believe, it is quite honestly the best weekend of the year though the Scott comes a very close second....and be careful of that Big John chap...if you see him out in the hills, go the other way ... he'll be lost, though he'll never admit it Anyway Big Chief Tight Wallet hope you and the Family have a brilliant New Year...from ALL of the Youngs
  15. Bribes for the observers...whisky is generally appreciated..... Big John always gets FIVES
  16. ...RESISTS..URGE ... TO .... SLIGHTLY ... EDIT .. ATOM'S .. POST..... I'll second what Atom said, anyway the biggest problem there is on here is the crazy Texan especially when he gets overly close to the Cactus Juice, Andy's highlighted his problems with the Bud Light so you can imagine how bad it gets ...... Happy New Year Copey.... Seriously, why would anyone want Xispa to fail? that's like suggesting I want Gas Gas to go under because I ride a Beta...the more the merrier, more bikes more choice
  17. Well you see there was a cunning plan in there Andy...David wanted me to follow them round taking pics every time the old boy dropped it.......I said I didn't have a memory card to take that many pics....
  18. You got your's back John???
  19. Copey, you realise that you could now fly to the SSDT.......might take a while with plenty of stops but you'd get here in the end... when i get the chance to do two seaters, I prefer these chaps here....curtesy of Her Britannic Majesty's Air Force...
  20. Easy....... CANON ....... read through some of the other threads in this forum(if you can't find them drop me a pm I'll point you to them) and see what's been said before. For the money the EOS 1000D is a lot of camera ... trust me. Many moons ago I used Minolta cameras, the forerunners of the Sony range (even have some lenses left, Sony bought out Kyocera/Minolta) ....good results but Canon is just so much better. Try DPreview.com if you want more answers. I use Canon EOS 30D get some superb results (camera more than my input though I like to think differently) I've just got a compact for christmas so I can chuck it in my pocket when I'm out on the bike, mountain bike whatever and that I won't mind wrecking.
  21. You get worse!!!!
  22. You need some serious help my friend..... Merry Christmas to you and yours, mate D
