i asked you guys for advice on my starting problem. wont st art when hot .One solution use the choke ,which works well. But this was very awkward in a section. So I rang the very nice people at Gas Gas UK and the solution is; number 35 piolet jet ( should be the original ) Float height 17mm ( original 19mm) this seems to work every time. Hope this helps out anybody who has the same problem. Thanks again for the advice people and happy trialing.PS this info is for the delorto carb only

Is it just me or is it that gasers are hard to start. Ihave tried no throtle, bit throtle,it just seams to start when it wants. Cold starts second kick. Any advice welcome. THANKS
  4. First trial for years ,had a great day thanks very much. Other clubs should come and have a look how you put an easy course on
  5. I started this ,because of the comments made by the westmorland club on their results page. My wife used to observe, but no more you can guess why.A solution could be, that if a club was doing a club championship of say 5 rounds ,10 sections thats 50 observers. To enter the championship you have to nominate which event you are observing.4 events would count .If there were more than 50 entrants there could be a lottery, or entrants could be given tidy up duties , help set the course, this also aleviates the problem of the hardy few doing everything.
  6. I am the first to admit that i have made the comment "come on thats not a5 ". You have to bite your tongue for the good of trials, observers are a rarity , plucked from volunteers in the car park . Some could be first timers ,so if you have a query see the clark of the course.Rant over.
  7. You will definitely have to clean the plates and the ball bearing that operates the diaphragm
  8. Thanks for the kind encouragement. After some practice at croft club ,hopefully a Boxingday trial
  9. I had one of those, the clutch dragged terribly. The cure was after cleaning the plates to run automatic gear oil. enjoy your riding
  10. I am new to this forum thing . Just bought a new gasgas 250, have I got the right bike for a novice, born again trials rider
