  1. help please. have just had my 1st serious outing on my 4rt after changing from a rev 3 beta. overall the bike was excellent loads of grunt as expected and would climb anything i pointed it at. the only issue i seemed to have was that the front end was far more difficult to get on line when going downhill and was prone to loosing grip on the front wheel. this was never an issue with my rev 3 . is there any obvious front end adustments that should be made based on this info or is this typical of the handling of the 4rt? i am 6 feet tall and 12.5 stone in weight. other than this the bike was awsome.

same thing here mate i ve just got a 4rt and im just gettins used to it theres nout wrong your just not used to it yet c you at penecuik trial [fellow lanarkshire member ]

  3. Hi all, out riding my 250 techno yesterday, the rear brake became stuck on. The brake pedal was fully depressed (out) but it was still locked on. I freed it by giving it a "gentle" kick only for it to stick on again later. Getting back to the car, the pads were as you can imagine quite smelly and hot. Any ideas as to why they would just lock on themselves?

    Cheers

had the same thing on my 4rt it was a hot day fluid expanded looked on brake change fluid give it some more freeplay on the pedal and bobs your mothers brother

  4. Does it die if you open full throttle when going over flat ground? Or just when going up a hill?

  5. Cheers for the welcome Slapshot

had a look at the LMCC website, are the contacts you have for the Ayrshire Clubs the Secretary's that can be found on the reverse of the SACU calender? If so i have this in the house as i'm still racing MX.

Any memebers of those lanarkshire or ayrshire clubs on here?

Will go and spectate at the SCRMC's Abington trial at the weekend or Dalmelington's trial at New Cumnock on the 19th and see what this feet up stuffs all about.

My dad actually rode both trials and motocross during the 60's, trialing BSA C15s and actually still has three of them and a B40 scrambler gathering dust, but when i got into bikes at 12 i wanted to race and nothing other Kawasaki KX's interested me. Now at 27 and starting to mellow in my old age i fancy trying trials! :P
