Thought I'd have a go at enduro and bought a 1996 Yamaha WR200. Does anybody know what ration of oil to petrol I should be using, the guy I bought it from said 30:1 but this sounds a bit rich to me.

Where's The Best Place For A Trials Helmet?
gregd replied to nathan_hfd's topic in General Trials Talk
In my experience which i admit is very limited, it is always best to try things on before buying, sizes and levels of comfort seem to vary between manufacturers. A point also worth noting, I purchased a hebo last year which, at the time was a snug fit, now after twelve months wear and bedding in it is a little loose. Either that or my head has shrunk!!!!! -
Excuse my ignorance but, when you say use a syringe to bleed, how exactly?

I have a leak on one of the calliper pistons on my 01 Rev , Lampkins tell me that i can buy a new seal kit including pistons (

I am looking to purchase a new silencer for my 01 rev3. BVM moto do an after market one or I can go for an original. 1. Does any body have any experience of the BVM one? 2. Does any one have an opinion on which to go for? 3. Any more options? Cheers!

neonsurge,I had the same sort of problem as you and after speaking to some of my mates discovered that most trials bikes seem to have this little quirk. I discovered that working the clutch 3/4 times before putting into gear worked a treat. .That said, i have just ordered a full new set of plates and springs and made a big whole in my wallet, along with the money spent on copious amounts of alcohol at the manx 2 day (brilliant weekend) that new bike is going to have to wait a little longer than anticipated
-
Thanks for all responses, the bike is an 01 250cc so would imagine its ready for a new clutch anyway, just thought i'd get some opinions before laying out the cash.
-
My clutch has started slipping badly in higher gears and been advised to replace the plates. Before doing this does anyone have any ideas what else may be the cause.
