Hi, it seems in the very near future the bike is going to need some new footpegs. What is out there to buy that are good but not bank breaking money. Have seen some for

Hi Scorpa Lad. Are your footpegs ally? Do your footpegs look as if they are sagging? If they are and you have access to ally welding facilites, just add a blob of weld to the bottom part of the bracket where it pivots and file-off to suit - this should bring the pegs back level.

As for new pegs, I recomend Trial Cast ally pegs. I was lucky and got some on the cheap (

No they have not sagged. They are ally pegs and the teeth have worn down enough not to grip boot to well, so am finding boot is slipping off a little to easy.For safety reasons need to replace.

If there is plenty of meat left on them, put them in a vice and give them a good filing until you have got some new sharp edges - a large 'rat tail' file I find is best for this.

Hebo pegs work very well though may be costly.

Take it easy on the filing,I've seen it done one time too many and the peg snapped leaving a lethal 'trident' weapon that would go through any boot.
