February 27, 200818 yr Hi all Need to buy some new footpegs for my 4rt. I have seen the jitsie ones on bvm and they look very nice. Anyone using them and have had any problems. Or can anyone recommend better set? Link: http://www.bvm-moto.co.uk/offroadparts/off...?key=JI605-1621 Thanks in advance Scott
February 27, 200818 yr The interchangeable stud length surely makes the SPLAT pegs a better buy. Should last forever, with the ability to replace the studs for new ones whenever needed?
February 27, 200818 yr Ive been using the same pair of Jitsie pegs for about 10 months now although they've been on three bikes. They're still in one peice and i haven't lost any pins, i'd say for durabilty they are among the best. As for the feel of them they are stupidly grippy to the point where you feel like your feet are stuck to the pegs! You get used to this after a short peirod and then they just feel very natural.
February 28, 200818 yr If you can find a bit more money, then go for Raptors..............far stronger than CNC alloy, and lighter, only negative point is the extra cost.
March 4, 200818 yr RAPTORS are the way forward i know a few people who have them, they are awsome the only one to have, lighter and dont get full of mud!!!!!
March 5, 200818 yr Anyone have the website for the Raptor pegs? It's http://www.raptorracing.biz/ but it doesn't seem to be working at the mo'...
March 5, 200818 yr Judging by the price and availability of titanium, a pair of Raptors will probably increase in value... I had Raptors in my 4RT for a while now and they are excellent and the hangars position the pegs 10mm further back.
March 5, 200818 yr The new raptor web address is - http://www.adaptx.co.uk/ its recently moved to this address.
