Just go for it, I can promise that you will never look back. Just check out all of the threads regarding the Evo, not really any bad words so far. motofire Posted April 2, 2009 Report Share Posted April 2, 2009 (edited) Sorry I cant compare to a Rev but I have a Evo 290 and in comparison to a Sherco 290 its very tame. The motor has plenty of grunt but its very smooth. The only thing I am going to do to the bike it a little clutch work....other than that I am very,very happy. What a bike it is, it has loads of power where on the rev 3 second gear was used everywhere you can use first on the evo and still have lots of power if needed .
