April 3, 200917 yr What protective gear do people wear when trials riding? Just looks like helmet, gloves and boots to me. Why don't people wear more, is there really no need? Thanks for your advice Uncle Dave.

April 3, 200917 yr Plastic armour breaks and stays broken, skin and bones heal. Only kidding, I use helmet, boots, gloves and knee protectors. In the winter I've found snowboarding trousers are useful, waterproof and a bit of padding.
April 4, 200917 yr I wear quite alot, I'd rather ride worse today , tomorrow, the day after that , and the day after that ECT. ECT. ,than wait several weeks between excellent rides while something or other heals. So far I've not found any good riding places that are also good for the occasional dirt nap for some strange reason all the rocks at my riding areas are kinda hard.
April 5, 200917 yr Much depends upon just how far in advance I have planned upon falling down that day!
