Any advice/info on Fantic Kroo 250 please, anyone have one?

Edited by idc1873

worst fantic ever. hydraulic clutch never worked, gearbox broke. Avoid it like the plague is my advice

I can remember having a test ride on one way bike in, 1989 (or so), it felt heavy and ungainly then, so imagine how big it will seem compared to modern stuff now. It was a new bike so I can't comment on the reliablility side of it.

They weren't good when new,horrible power band,long,heavy,high,as Lee says,worst Fantic ever,it won't have improved with age either,AVOID

I had one around 1992, and loved it but to be honest didnt have it for that long as it was stolen, I just remember being able to wheelie it for fun and was really impressed with the hydraulic clutch at that time, I bought one cheap not so long ago but sold it to Bill Pye as the cost of the re-build was not worthwhile (and trust me I dont like breaking up Fantics you should see the 300 ive just bought and am about to throw lots of cash at) there was a really nice one just sold on Ebay for

So is it---

Air cooled Fantic=good

Liquid cooled Fantic=bad?
