E3 will offer a replacement plug for the 4 RT's conventional NGK later this year. I have used E3's in my car with improvement in fuel consumption, (and presumably better performance). The E3 uses multiple electrodes.

"The E3 part number for the replacement plug will be E3.38. It will be available sometime in August of this year" according to Brad Davis with E3 Spark Plugs.

Almost like the KLG plug in my 1925 Triumph  Funny how these things have a 2nd or 3rd life. Admittedly the vintage plugs didn't have the electrodes joined.

Wayne...

Three electrode plug was standard fitment in VW Golfs etc in 1989.
