September 12, 200916 yr Wonder why Japan is a no show for the tdn next week. Perhaps all the lads from europe who have spent thousands getting riders and minders there over the last few years can feel agrieved that they cant send 3(2)riders to europe? US of A have stepped up to the plate and moved up to the top route apparently?
September 12, 200916 yr Oh Dear Maybe short of a bit of money, wonder if their Government will lend them some and add to their DEBT ????
September 12, 200916 yr Hang on. Where are all these countries and rider's the rest of the year, should'nt they all be riding the WTC all year round or is our sport skint. Edited September 12, 200916 yr by bilc0
September 13, 200916 yr If you watch any of the Youtube videos of the Japanese Championship, you will see that most of the top riders are on Scorpa/Yamahas. They borrowed Scorpas from the factory last year. That option is not available this year and I think that is at least one big reason why they are not coming this year.
September 16, 200916 yr Kenny and Nozaki are injured, both. That was the reason from the MFJ. (Japanese Federation) So they had to send some other riders, at least 3. Fujigas, Ogawa and Shibuya maybe.. Ok, there are enough riders in Japan in the A class level, but maybe the MFJ would only send very good riders, and no riders for the last places.
September 17, 200916 yr Author fuji is already here of course, 3 only needed, four is optional. When you look at the quality of riders then all of there top ten are better than the usa and they are there
