Is the new mont really supposed to idle at 1800 rpm,the only one I have heard sounds very fast on idle.

    Thats is what they say but i have mine set no higher than 'normal' certainly not 1800 !

    Thats interesting cause the bike came from the dealer set up to idle at 1800 rpm,the guy who had bought it was concerned at the idle speed and the fact that the front pipe was glowing red after short time on idle. But if Honda say this is the correct idle speed what do you do.
