December 6, 200916 yr hey my sherco's frontbrake doesnt work well in wet or muddy conditions anyone knows what to do? are there different breaking pads who work better in the wet? bike is a 2007 4stroke regards bob

December 7, 200916 yr Hi Bob, just a thought, are you sure the caliper pistons are allowed to apply the same force as when new? Might there be some muck between the caliper and pads? Are you using never seize between the pad EDGES and the caliper? These would seem a more likely problem than pad material. Good luck
December 8, 200916 yr All I can tell is that I have been running the "BRAKING" pads, and they doo seem to work better than the Galfers when wet. Mind you, these were installed as to minimize the noise issue with the wave rotors(by Braking as well), yet there are tradeoffs is seems. The Braking pads do seem to be less noisy, and offer improved feel and progression, yet I have yet to find them equal to the Galfers in dry operation when you want that wheel to stop NOW to do a bit of a rear hop and such. December 9, 200916 yr Got mine from DKbikespares.com , seem really good! I'd agree with that, bought a racing gear lever on ebay off them. Tucked in closer to cases & allows ignition cover removal with lever in place
