Im looking at changing the apperance of my bike,

I undersatnd you can fit newer plastics on an older bike, I have a 2001 rev 3 and i need to know what plastics will fit, My bro (sawtooth) fitted the red '04 plastics on his '03 rev 3 with no problems,

There are a few differences between 01' and '03 ie airbox,

What i would like to know is whats the newest plastics i can fit i i buy all the parts ie airbox,

youve answered your own question. The air box changed on the 02 then remained the same upto 06 with a slightly thinner tank on the 07-08 model.

in otherwords you can only fit 2000 or 2001 plastics to your bike, on the rear anyhow, if you buy the airbox you can fit up to 06

Is the 02-06 plastic anymore flexible than the 01 plastic?

To be honest the most flexible was the 2006 (black) as it was not painted .. the paint seems to make the plastic harder and in consequence more brittle.. the 05 seemed ok too but not as good as the 2006.. as stated before by someone you would need to change the airbox and get the air filter cover as well for the rear.. on the front you have a lot of choices red , black , blue , orange, purple, yellow, silver and flourecent pink/red
