August 20, 201016 yr So between meetings im surfin on my uber cool new phone on ebay and somebody is parting out an 02 and 03 pro. They may even be on here i dunno. Parts are coming out of Golden CO..... The 99 dollar jug, piston, head drew my attention especially cause i know a new one is pretty damn expensive.... Heres the linky. August 20, 201016 yr I doubt some one is missing the stuff, but a used piston without the rings is strange unless the cylinder is trash.
August 20, 201016 yr The piston looks to have been blasted with a very heavy bead size - it is really rough. The good news is that he did not blast the cylinder or head. The cylinder appears to have some scoring - it may not be too bad but there are some vertical scratches showing.
August 21, 201016 yr Hard to tell i know from them picts but looks like it needs a replate if you wanted to be sure, doesn,t make it such a good buy then. Why woul you blast a piston ? unless it s to make it look better than it is.
