hi all, would someone please advise me on the 2 stroke ratio on my txt280, the guy i got it from told me to mix 100ml of oil with 5 litres of petrol, i was told today by another rider it should be 80ml of oil to 5 litres of petrol, wich is it 100ml or 80ml?, im using putoline tt oil with shell optimax fuel, any advise welcome, regards Nick.

50:1 ratio = 100ml oil per 5000ml petrol (5 litres)

60:1 ratio = approx 83ml oil per 5000ml petrol

80:1 ratio = approx 62ml oil per 5000ml petrol

I run my 280 on anything between 60:1 and 80:1 depending on what mood I'm in when measuring the oil ! Good quality fully synthetic oil and regular unleaded.

I use castrol TTS at 75mls for every 5ltrs of super unleaded.
