February 1, 201115 yr Hi all, some time ago when I was out on the sherco I noticed a lad had a front mounted bottle in-between his forks then the number board over it, has any 1 seen these and any ideas were I can purchase 1, it looked perfect for a refreshing drink when out, any ideas cheers.

February 2, 201115 yr I suppose you could fill it full of water instead of petrol .... but why would you want all that extra weight up so high on the bike? If you use a bladder backpack (Camelbak) it's weight shifts with your weight. So can work with you rather than against you. Best of balance. Neo

Neo What size of camelbak would you reccomend to carry what you need but not too big?
February 3, 201115 yr 1.5 to 2.0 ltr should be good. Try and get one that has a horizontal strap that snap clips across your chest ... the lower the better. Best of balance. Neo

Neo I run a Camelback ROGUE, which is a medium size, has a couple good pockets for small tools and will carry a decent quantity of water for hot or long outings. Cannot do without! The small ones, just for water, are better than nothing! And weigh nothing!
