March 13, 201115 yr hi, not ridden trials for a few years and dusting the bike off.... i have forgetten the fuel/oil ratio for 2 stroke - 60:1 rings a bell, does that sounds about right? Thanks

Thanks 2% is by the book which I think is 50:1 but most people myself included go about 80:1, I use 63ml / 5L of fuel and no body's dead yet!
March 13, 201115 yr We've used 80/100 to 1 for years, hasn't caused a problem. Taken motors apart and have had oil in the bottom end. Used in current year GG's and vintage TY's Fred

As long as the jetting, ignition and other normal engine conditions are within reasonable range, I've never seen any ratio related problems with 80:1 in the liquid-cooled Trials bikes. Jon
