Hey guys i've recently bought a 06 gas gas 280 pro and im loving it but i find it a little bit slugish on the first bit of the throttle wen i go to jump or wheelie any help or ideas on what would be a good idea to check out with it ?

:I've cleaned the carb out

:I've adjusted the screw on the carb both ways in and out still no joy :(

Is this a dellorto carb bike? If so, ck to insure it is not only clean, but the jetting is correct as many times stock jetting is far too weak, at a #30 or so pilot.

Getting up to 33-36 range can make a big difference!

Could you elaborate a little bit more :)

Not sure which carb s in it but i'll check.

Chances are you have the Dellorto PHBL and jetting for sea level up a couple

thousand feet altitude should be in the neighborhood of:

MAIN: 118 (116 OK, NOTHING SMALLER!)

PILOT: 36 (38 OK)

NEEDLE: D36 (3rd, or 2nd CLIP POSITION DOWN FROM TOP)

FUEL SCREW: 3.5 TURNS OUT (screw on the side of the carb closest to the engine)

FLOAT HEIGHT: ARMS IN LEVEL PLANE WITH FLOAT BOWL BASE (PARALLEL)
