Dissertation research

Afternoon all

I'm one of the eternal lurkers and apologise that my first post comes across as spam but promise it isn't.

Basically I'm working on a Masters degree in Urban Planning. I have to complete a dissertation and have been housebound following surgery which has made the research element nearly impossible. So I've had a change of tack and will be using the Internet for the lion's share.

I'm studying noise in the countryside and am using off roading as a focal point (luckily my tutor is a keen green laner which makes life easier). If any of you could spare a few minutes to complete my survey I'd really appreciate it (you never know if I swap the Pan for an off-roader we might meet and I'll shake your hand!).

I've had some discussions with members of TRF about who I'm aiming my request to. Basically in planning terms countryside is land outside of residential settlements - it doesn't really matter whether you're into trials, motocross or green laning - all responses will be useful.

Cheers

Mark

Thanks chaps

I'll try and make sure that i get a PDF version of the final document (due in October) for you to have a read of.

I shall get over to the TBM forum and see if they'd be interested in contributing.

Although my surgery was non-motorbike induced I've been really chuffed at the level of support and encouragement I've received from all (with one sad exception) of the forums I've posted on. Thanks very much :)

Mark
