Hit it with a big piece of wood or a rubber mallet. If that does not work then heat it up with a hair dryer pointed at the bowl and then hit it?????? ham2 Posted August 31, 2011 Report Share Posted August 31, 2011 Go easy on the 'hitting' it's only magnesium alloy(?) If the carb's on the bench just grip the bowl with some emery paper in your hand and pull/wiggle. The chances are that (once the brass nut is off) the bowl is just hung-up on the o-rings. My experience of Gas Gas (trial and enduro) is not to go anywhere near it with anything stronger than a feather duster.
