It does afford access to the jets thru the big brass nut. It is stuck due to not being open much. Hit it with a big piece of wood or a rubber mallet.

If that does not work then heat it up with a hair dryer pointed at the bowl and then hit it??????

Go easy on the 'hitting' it's only magnesium alloy(?)

If the carb's on the bench just grip the bowl with some emery paper in your hand and pull/wiggle.

The chances are that (once the brass nut is off) the bowl is just hung-up on the o-rings.

As above they usually stick to the gasket so a very gentle tap with a soft mallet is all that is required!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Gentlemen.

My experience of Gas Gas (trial and enduro) is not to go anywhere near it with anything stronger than a feather duster. Fastenings in particular seem to be made from the softest steel known to mankind.

I'll start with a very gentle tap.....
