September 15, 201114 yr The bikes are all good, ridership tends to vary upon area. As a new rider, you might want to stick with nothing bigger than a 250, but you are well advised to ride a few different bikes, at some point you still will need to pick your poison and ride what you brung, cause none of them are perfect either!
September 15, 201114 yr If your just starting out you only need a 250. Pointless going for a 290 or 300.
September 15, 201114 yr Author Thanks guys The only reason I was looking at a 290 beta evo is that I read the power delivery is smoother than the 250 so you get more grip - hopefully someone can comment on that assumption.
September 27, 201114 yr the beta is awsome my buddy that i drive with has the 2011 evo 290 2t .. its an animal and by now means too much or anythin for beging, the power delivery is superrrr smooth, the only thing i found being new to the sport was how light it seams up front...but i mean lighter the beta .. feels like yer ridin a mountain bike wita motor its awsome man and not only that its probley arguable to best looking trials in my opinion he has the all white wit red n black decals black weels u know its awsomeee !! hope your happy with whatever choice you go with bro..cheers!
September 27, 201114 yr Author I've ended buying a Beta evo 250 2010 as it was in excellent condition - only seen 11 clubman trials and still on the original tyre and sprocket. I will be picking it up today
