Real pain in the backside those rim bands.

The problem is that no matter how well the rim band is installed at some time it will leak either through corrosion or the rim band rubber breaking down and loosing its sealing capabity.

I recently solved exactly the same problem by putting a blob of heldite ontop of each spoke nut. I don't have a rim band anymore, it's sealed really well.

Not worth risking it as you will eventually bend the very expensive rim.

Quick solution is to go and have an inner tube put in it then sort it out properly when you need a new tyre.

The rim band is a challenge but it can be done and it's not so hard once you've learnt what to do ..... read some past posts on TC when you're getting ready for that.

My old 06 rear (tubeless) rim just held 5 PSI for over 4 months!! ..... and if I can do it so can you

All the best.
