Hi all just started riding mid life crisis apparently or so my wife tells me have just got Sherco 290 2003 was wondering what should be checking topping up maintaining after couple of hours on it and advise gratefully received thanks

Change the gearbox oil every 5-6 hours of use and keep the air filter nice and clean and oiled.

Clean the carb every 5-6 rides and keep the coolant topped up

in addition to previous post.

Be sure to grease/lube the suspension linkage bearings (including shock top/bottom) at a minimum once a year. keep an eye on the fork seals, can never lube the chain too much
