hi guys thanks for your help much needed. the gearsbox was carfully taken out and placed on the bench the kickstart rachet was also taken out carfully the return spring as been removed. when i split the cases the shifter drum.and forks fell out so i couldnt see how it whent. but i agree with you about the manual i have been looking in it. am not going to rush rebuilding the engin i want it to be spot on.

      What spacers? If you could select 5 gears the selector forks are in the right way. If the fork that can be fitted the wrong way around was the wrong way around, you'd only have had the first three ge
