Hi Bondy. To remove rubber glued on with contact cement all you do is pick one end loose and peel it off. The glue will come off with a rag wet with mineral turpentine. I always use some plastic zip/ cable ties to hold the rubber in place. The best bet might be to buy an original rubber and glue that in place and use some zip ties through the holes in the slipper rubber. Graham.

Graham thanks for the info.am not just ready to do it yet so got time to think wich way i will do it

contact cement is what we call evostick contact adhesive in the uk.
