29markt
Hi, Could anyone put me straight on the correct carburettor for my 200 Cota? It has a Amal L2624/402 (26mm) fitted, and the spec sheet it states it should have Amal L-720 (20mm)???? Could this be contrutibutory to it not bleedin' starting!!! ikb
Best bet is to replace it with a Mikuni or I like the Dellorto jetted for a GasGas 125. The dellorto gives sharper pick up compared to the Mikuni ( not sharp compared to a modern bike!). The 200 came with both mark 1 and mark 2 concetrics, yours is the mark 2. ian

zerorev3rev4
the 26mm sounds right 20mm would be too small also the numbers sound familiar to some on my 200,s

Any help appreciated. Mark
kingscorpion
If I'm not mistaken, there were two Cota 200 series. The first one used an (strange) Amal 720 and the second one the L2624/402. You'll need these jets: 135 Main 20 pilot 106 Needle jet 2B1 needle and a number 3 cutaway for the throttle slide. You should also change the o rings of the screws.
