What did you end up doing dan? Head + gasket, or head only?

And would you say it had an significant effect on the kicking effort? I'd appreciate your input!

      In would hold off on the flywheel weight until you have tried the other mods, some don't like the way the weighted engine responds.

      Dan A smaller carb will make it more responsive at the bottom end and then lose some on the top end. The flywheel weight slows it down as to how comes on violently. I would try the black throttl

    Has anyone ever made sense of the quoted compression ratios in the official Beta specs?
    125: 15.9 (totally unbelievable!)
    250: 9.0
    300: 10.9
    200: different again, but I don't have the info to hand now
