August 1, 200521 yr Has'nt someone said that the monts are 286cc?.... Doubt it! I was stood in section 5 when Freixa and fuji went through and when they set off up the first bank, the ground rumbled Also, the bore of the silencer was twice the size of a standard 4rt... awesome, loved the sound! Did you see lampkin on section 5 on the 2nd lap!? wow.
August 1, 200521 yr The Honda's seemed to do very well when they needed to be opened right up. 4th gear (I think) on section 7 and flat out and they went up like a big crosser. Sounded so powerful at high revs. 1st lap, section 7... I watched and video'd 4 or 5 riders do the jump onto the top rock from the start gate. Freixa set off like a rocket, I tried to follow him with the camcorder and caught up with him in mid air just before he landed. When I played it back, all I had got was the crowd blurred in the background - no Freixa
August 1, 200521 yr Lampkin and Fuji were the only two to get close to getting out of the scrubbed section 12 on lap 1. Both set off up the hill at full chat - bloody awesome. Sounded like a 450 !
