Featured Replies

Hi all just a thought what traits do the different bike manufacturers have like gassgass 250 line beta rev 250 sherco 250 line. Just would like to know how they ride differently. i don't want a debate about which one is the best just like to hear what the differences are .

Beta 250 vs gas gas 250. Not a great difference. For me gas gas wins on chassis, beta on motor. Tight turns easier and natural feeling on gas gas but I was moving from an older gas gas. Throttle response not just on opening but on closing much better on the beta - in part a heavier flywheel feeling. I bought the beta.

I agree the beta feels abit harder to ballance in a tight turn but learning to shift your boddy over by hanging over the bike all most like you shift off the bike .iv rode a gasgas once for 10 minutes and liked how light it felt. But I wonder if it's down to the wheel base .

Hi Burns, I recon the best way to evaluate a bike is for you to grab a ride on each of the models, that's what I did, cos' only I can decide whats best for me. Other riders are often only too happy to give you a ride. Then you can discuss their findings with your own. I also read past revues and tests of the bikes [over the years] from magazines and the web. Good luck Taff
