January 19, 201511 yr Was thinking about going this year but it's a quite a hike for me. Worth it? Anybody been?
January 19, 201511 yr http://trialstrainingcenter.com/schedule/trials-training-days/I have ridden many nationals at TTC, but never the training. Long ways for two days. But if you could show up Thursday, get accustomed to the area Friday and stay for a couple days afterward to practice what you learned. Otherwise hook up with a Cat rider or two. For a fraction of the cost to TTC you could probably get Bryan or similar for private classes or talk them into a small school. Or schedule a Ray Peters school. We ride with Ray several weekends a month. Great teacher, no matter what level.
January 19, 201511 yr Author Hey Line good info and I have seen Ray's youtube vids. Do you have a link to his schools?
January 19, 201511 yr Great place to ride, great weekend, scenery is great as well. No dry grippy rocks there! You must ride! Ray may go, he often does, besides it is possible to fly out and rent a bike. I often like the getaway.

Just never went during trials days, probably well worth it.
January 20, 201511 yr Ryan Young is always there and is a great teacher as was Ray Peters when I attended. Most students are beginner-novice level so don't expect Ryan to be teaching techniques from his advanced training video to a group of high level riders. It's good for learning the basics.
