cliff montesa
Hi, Could somebody please have a look at the picture and tell me how the bottom stud is fixed in. At the moment it just turns not allowing me to tighten the nut that holds the bracket on. The top stud is ok. Is this a full engine strip down to fix this? Many thanks. kingscorpion
If I don't remember badly, the upper stud is the only one that is "fixed". The rest of them cross the engine and have another M7 bolt inside the primary transmission case. So you'll need to work from both sides at the same time to tighten it. bigshineybike
Correct its a long bolt. You could be lucky, if the threads are good.Hold the thread with the tip of a flat blade screwdriver, run the nut down with your fingers until the end of the thread is reachable. then hold the end of the thread gently with pliers do the nut up. lineaway
At worst it is just inside the clutch cover (Kickstart cover) Not inside the cases.
atakin22bed
You should open the clutch cover : its' not only a classic nut . you need it to maintain the chain tensionner
