I assume the H is a reference to the Honda involvement but what year I would like to know. 29markt Posted June 22, 2015 Report Share Posted June 22, 2015 Hi, Red tank MH200 were made around 83-84, the Blanco was made 80-late 82, the engine number is usually stamped on the clutch side casing at the top and shold start MH rather than 29M. Only real difference was a different front wheel on the MH model, early 200 Cota also had the MK1 Amal carb, not the flatside MK2 on the 200C & MH200. Got the oil sorted and need to examine other features carb etc Bike isnt at home so need to look at things next visit. Hoping to ride (or at least attend) my first trial for thirty years this coming Sunday (Horsforth) Depends if the boots ordered arrive in time. Helmet is here !! Say Hi if your at Horsforth. I will be debuting my 200Cota after 15 years of not riding!! Catering facilities on site, Mick Andrews marking out and in attendance, more the merrier!! Interested to see although frame is MH engine number is not it is 29M 02334 I rode thru Bakewell many times on my 1947 BSA 350 B32 when I was stationed at Market Drayton in the RAF (1950s) Just a bit too far for me now Im afraid Pity not to compare Cota 200s Did I mentioned Ive been out of the saddle 30 years !!! 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
