2014 Raga 300 Bottom Bolt Reiger Shock

Featured Replies

My grandson's 2014 Raga 300 bottom bolt Reiger shock keeps coming loose have tried loctite quite a few times but it still keeps coming loose.  Has anyone had this problem and how to cure it? tried a spring washer same size as hex head but it seizes the shock as the spinde doesn't go right through by that washer depth.  I don't think there's enough room to get a nylock nut on a longer bolt.

Hi Mik60ish

I have been told that a nylock nut only needs two threads contact on the bolt to do it's job. That's according to the guy a my local bolt and nut shop. I just bought new nylock nuts for my rear sprocket.

Yes, exactly the same issue - has happened twice.

Please let me know if you figure out how to fix it....cheers.

I've flipped the triangular linkages so that my bolt now enters from the chain side. Now it's holding fine.
